As the California budget crisis continues, there's are an easy way to help support Helix programs - Donorschoose.org.  This is a donation website where Helix staff post their needs and people from all over the world contribute to those projects.   Once a project is fully funded, the donorschoose.org arranges for the donated items to be sent to Helix staff.

"Did you know that purchasing Scrip has helped many parents to pay for school expenses such as yearbooks, proms, and graduation activities?
Purchasing scrip is simple and easy.  Scrip can be ordered weekly from the Helix front office - you or your student simply show up in the front office any Thursday from 7am-9am and purchase your Scrip! Try it - you'll  love it!

If you haven’t had the opportunity to join PTSA, it’s not too late! Use the form below along with a check made payable to Helix PTSA. This can be dropped off at the school office or mailed to Helix High PTSA, 7323 University Avenue, La Mesa, CA91940. (You can also join through the Helix web site store, however; the web site does not provide the contact information so you may want to forward it to us separately). Remember all dues are tax deductible.
